In Tennessee and across the country, we’re working with communities and advocates to connect more people in more places to the outdoors.
Our Work in Tennessee
Together, Trust for Public Land and the City of Chattanooga have successfully helped Chattanooga become North America’s first National Park City, a global designation years in the making, and one shaped by the voices of thousands of residents, community leaders, and partners who share a vision for a greener, healthier, more connected city. Now, with the National Park City title in hand, Chattanooga continues to look ahead. The designation will help guide public investment, grow community-led projects, and inspire the next generation to care for the land, water, and stories that define their home.
From transforming schoolyards to preserving national parks, our work is changing communities across the country. Read more stories about our projects in this state and across the country.
