Chattanooga Named First National Park City

Together, Trust for Public Land and the City of Chattanooga have successfully helped Chattanooga become North America’s first National Park City, a global designation years in the making, and one shaped by the voices of thousands of residents, community leaders, and partners who share a vision for a greener, healthier, more connected city. Now, with the National Park City title in hand, Chattanooga continues to look ahead. The designation will help guide public investment, grow community-led projects, and inspire the next generation to care for the land, water, and stories that define their home.
