Sterchi Farm

Sterchi Farm serves as a key trailhead for the 12-mile South Chickamauga Creek Greenway. In 2016, the Trust for Public Land hired WMWA Landscape Architects to create a master plan for this 25-acre site and make it a destination for trail users. Implementation of the plan has been supported by Benwood and Lyndhurst foundations, community partners and the City of Chattanooga.

We completed the first element of the master plan in 2018, with environmental artist Adam Kuby’s installation Clamber-Scramble-Traverse. This nature-based adventure trail encourages kids and families to climb, jump, explore, and play alongside the creek.
