Marnie Wells

Marnie Wells is an accomplished leader and philanthropist currently serving as the President of The Toro Company Foundation in Bloomington, MN. While most people know of the lawnmowers, The Toro Company is a worldwide leader in design, manufacturing, and marketing innovative outdoor equipment that relies on alternative power, smart connected, and autonomous solutions.  This is one of the main reasons why Marnie joined The Toro Company team. With a passion for driving positive change and making a difference in communities, Marnie has dedicated her career to advancing initiatives focused on education, environmentalism, and social responsibility.

As a learning enthusiast, Marnie earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Minnesota, a Master of Arts in Human Development at the University of Saint Mary’s, and a Master in Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota’s Humphrey School of Public Affairs. While at the Humphrey Institute, she was tapped to travel to Spain as a Policy Fellow with the American Council of Young Political Leaders and later became a Humphrey Public Policy Fellow. She has studied in Germany, France, the Netherlands, and Sweden. She lives in Minneapolis with her husband, Ralph, where they enjoy traveling and spending time with friends and family.
