Gunpowder Falls

Tucked into the rolling landscape of Northern Baltimore County, this 61-acre property offers a rare blend of seclusion, history, and outdoor access. This property is ideally positioned near two of the county’s most utilized natural spaces: Gunpowder Falls State Park and the Torrey C. Brown Rail Trail.

Gunpowder Falls State Park already boasts over 18,000 acres of multi-use trails, protected state wildlands, historic homes, fishing, kayaking and more; while the Torrey C. Brown Rail Trail steadily connects hundreds of hikers, bikers, horseback riders, and exercise enthusiasts to almost 20 miles of trails through five communities. By protecting the land between this well-used trail and beloved state park, Trust for Public Land will help secure public access to a landscape rich in history, biodiversity, and adventure. In partnership with the surrounding parklands and trail systems, this newly protected land will soon provide even more Marylanders access to explore Gunpowder Valley’s scenic beauty.
