Fund
We help state and local governments design, pass, and implement legislation and ballot measures that create new public funds for parks and land conservation. We’ve helped pass 572 ballot measures—an 82 percent success—creating $79.6 billion in voter approved funding for parks, land conservation, and restoration. Every $1 invested in this program has generated more than $2,000 in new public funds.
Our conservation finance services include:
- Technical assistance: creating legislative and ballot measures that reflect public priorities
- Campaign services: offering a suite of campaign services from planning to get-out-the-vote programs

Trust for Public Land Action Fund
To pass ballot measures, we work with our lobbying and campaign affiliate, The Trust for Public Land Action Fund, a 501(c)(4) nonprofit corporation that mobilizes public support for measures that create public funds for land conservation. The Trust for Public Land Action Fund is the go-to resource for conservation campaigns.
