Shelli Willis
Shelli is a transactional attorney who is particularly experienced helping clients efficiently navigate risk, resolve conflict, and achieve successful transactions.
Shelli combines an in-depth understanding of real estate and finance with a proficient and practical approach built from outside counsel and in-house experiences to guide lenders and real estate investors through the life cycle of real estate investments. She also counsels corporate leaders to build and further develop CSR, ESG and DE&I programs, with a particular focus on the built environment and real estate and finance industries. Prior to rejoining the firm, Shelli served for more than six years as a deputy general counsel and assistant corporate secretary to a publicly traded bank and offers a wide range of insights from that experience.
Shelli serves on Troutman Pepper’s Diversity and Innovation Committees and is a founding member of its Women’s Forum. Shelli is also professionally and civically active, serving as a Fellow in the American College of Real Estate Attorneys and on the boards of ULI Atlanta, Ser Familia, the NC Coastal Federation, and the Trust for Public Land, as well as the United Way Atlanta Tocqueville Society Cabinet. She is also an Adjunct Professor at Emory School of Law.
