Nina Lagpacan

Nina is a Program Officer with Oceankind, a philanthropic organization based in the San Francisco Bay Area dedicated to protecting marine ecosystems. She provides operational support and manages Oceankind’s investments that advance diversity, equity, inclusion and justice in marine conservation and environmental philanthropy.

Prior to joining Oceankind, Nina worked with the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation supporting the Ocean and Seafood Markets and Forests and Agricultural Markets portfolios. Before entering philanthropy, Nina worked as a park ranger in the Tetons and Rockies for the National Park Service.

Nina received a joint MBA/ Master of Environmental Management degrees from Yale University and a B.A. in Integrative Biology and German from the University of California Berkeley.

Outside of work, you might find her playing volleyball or trying the newest boba spot.
