Mike Allard

Mike is a managing director for Freestone Capital, a wealth management firm based in Seattle that manages $11.5 billion for individuals and families. Michael joined Freestone with over 25 years of experience in the wealth management industry. His career began at Charles Schwab, holding various positions over ten years. Most of his career has centered around developing and implementing investment plans for high net worth individuals, families and non-profit organizations.

Mike enjoys outdoor activities and is a huge sports fan, often going to great lengths and distances to attend professional and collegiate sporting events. He provides financial education and literacy to professional athletes.

Mike is actively involved in local organizations focused on youth, education, health, and end-of-life dignity. He is active in the Santa Cruz community, sitting on the Board of Directors of Hospice of Santa Cruz County and volunteering his time with the Rotary Club of Santa Cruz. Michael is a Director Emeritus of the Dominican Hospital Foundation (Dignity Health), and past board member of Cabrillo College Foundation and The Santa Cruz Museum of Art and History. He and his wife, Kalena, recently became empty nesters with their two boys off on their own adventures.
