Kim Byas Sr., PhD
Dr. Kim Byas has over 45 years of experience in healthcare leadership and is dedicated to improving population health and advancing social justice through data, systems thinking, and mentorship. He is the founder and CEO of Leadership Lessons From, a nonprofit organization that supports leadership development and mentoring of healthcare leaders from underrepresented populations. Kim is also an adjunct professor at both Loyola University in Chicago and Union Institute & University in Cincinnati.
Prior to his consulting work, Kim served as a senior executive with the American Hospital Association and as Vice President of Community Engagement and Impact for WellLink Health Alliance, a Northeast Ohio-based healthcare organization that connects hospitals, healthcare providers, businesses, and communities to improve overall health and well-being. He has served on the boards of the Cafh Foundation, Quinlan School of Business, and the Conscious Leadership Guild.
