Keith Maley

Vice President of Communications and Impact Strategy

Keith Maley is the Vice President of Communications and Impact Strategy at Trust for Public Land. Prior to joining TPL, he served as a White House spokesperson and director of regional media for President Obama. Prior to that, he served as a communications aide to Secretary Sebelius at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and to U.S. Senator Edward M. Kennedy. Keith grew up in Concord, Massachusetts, and graduated from Boston College before getting his master’s degree in public policy from Georgetown University. He now lives in San Francisco with his partner Jose and dog Kilroy. Keith connects to the outdoors through birding and currently holds the San Francisco County Big Year record at 314 species.
