Kate Vlasak

As Vice President of Human Resources, Kate leads TPL’s HR strategy and operations with a strong focus on cultivating a thriving workplace culture rooted in the organization’s shared values. Since joining TPL in 2007, Kate has held a range of leadership roles in human resources, bringing deep institutional knowledge and a longstanding commitment to the mission. She is passionate about creating an environment where every employee feels connected to TPL’s mission and to one another.

Kate oversees the HR team and champions a people-centered, mission-aligned approach to human resources. She brings strategic insight and a collaborative spirit to fostering an inclusive, equitable, and engaged workplace that supports TPL’s long-term success. Based in Bend, Oregon, she can often be found exploring the many nearby parks and trails.
