Kate Sande
Kate Sande is a regulatory thought leader with a diverse technical background and over 20 years of experience in both the public and private sectors. As the Director of Regulatory Scientific Affairs at Ecolab, Kate leads a global multi-disciplinary regulatory team responsible for translating regulatory change insights into impactful outcomes and driving regulatory change through science advocacy.
Prior to her current role, Kate managed the Global Innovative Product Registration team, supporting R&D product development from ideation, through registration, to launch. Her public sector experience includes roles at the Minnesota Department of Health, Oregon Public Health Authority, and the US EPA, before joining Ecolab in 2014. Kate holds an M.S. in Environmental Health from the University of Washington and a B.S. in Process Engineering from the University of Minnesota.
Outside of work, Kate tries to spend as much time possible outside with her family traveling, skiing, biking, gardening, or simply enjoying fresh air on the backyard patio.
