Why I believe in protecting land and creating parks: The natural environment is an increasingly scarce resource yet is one that is fundamental and vital to the physical and spiritual health of humans. It is hard to imagine a mission that is more critical to our future.

Why I support Trust for Public Land: Trust for Public Land plays a unique and critical role among conservation and environmental organizations. While many preserve and restore land, Trust for Public Land is distinguished by a core mission of preserving land for people.
