Jennifer Winn

Jennifer Winn serves as the vice president of Land, where she is responsible for real estate support of Georgia Power operations and maintaining relationships across several community touchpoints. She leads day-to-day operations of the Land department including ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, land acquisition strategy and optimizing the value of the company’s land assets.

Prior to her current role, Winn was vice president of Corporate Sustainability, where she led Georgia Power’s efforts to develop, implement, communicate, and monitor progress of the company’s vision of building a clean and sustainable energy future.

Winn began her career with Southern Nuclear as an engineer at Farley Nuclear Plant in 2005. In 2009, Winn transitioned to the Vogtle 3 and 4 construction project where she led internal and external reporting with multiple regulatory agencies for the Vogtle 3 and 4 project. Winn served in roles of increasing responsibility including assistant to the Georgia Power CEO, general manager of Environmental Affairs and general manager of Natural Resources.

A native of Troy, Alabama, Winn earned a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Auburn University. She serves as the chair of the board of directors for the YWCA of Greater Atlanta, on the board of trustees for the Georgia Forestry Foundation, the Georgia advisory board for the Trust for Public Land, the board of directors for Park Pride and the board of directors for Trees Atlanta. Winn lives in Atlanta with her husband and two children.
