Dennis Carruth

Dennis is owner of Carruth Properties Company, formed in 1987 to create and enhance real property values and to achieve high levels of economic performance in balance with community needs and environmental soundness. Major projects include: development of the 9,139-acre Ken-Caryl Ranch; development of 300-acre Ken-Caryl Business Center; development of Meadow Ranch mixed-use and residential golf community; development and part-ownership of a 22-building commercial real estate portfolio; development of and consulting with Deer Creek Golf Club; asset management and consulting on a number of real property projects along Colorado's front range and in Western Colorado. He was a co-founder of Village Homes of Colorado.

Dennis has served on (and chaired) a number of charitable and professional boards including: Homebuilders Association of Metropolitan Denver; Governor's (Lamm) Metropolitan Water Roundtable; University of Colorado Hospital Authority; Brent Eley Foundation ('Brent's Place); Pinehurst Country Club; Aspen Valley Ski and Snowboard Club. He currently serves on the board of Jefferson Economic Development Authority and on the board of the University of Wyoming College of Business where he earned Engineering undergraduate and Business graduate degrees. Personal interests include fitness, hiking, skiing, golf, reading, writing and public affairs. Dennis and his wife Penney reside in the Roaring Fork Valley. Their blended family includes five adult children, all active in professional careers.
