Andy Brown

Andrew Brown is a partner at Dorsey & Whitney LLP, where he is chair of the Regulatory Affairs Practice Group and a member of the firm’s Management Committee. He represents clients in litigation and administrative proceedings relating to energy and environmental regulatory matters. Andrew is the former chair of the Minnesota State Bar Association’s Environmental and Natural Resources Committee, a former Director of the Minnesota Citizens League and a former Director and Chair of the Environmental Initiative (EI). He is a fellow in the American College of Environmental Lawyers, listed in Best Lawyers in America, and has been selected as a “Minnesota Super Lawyer.” He was an undergraduate at Stanford University and received his law degree from the Duke University Law School. Prior to attending law school, Andrew studied economic and energy policy at the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, and served as legislative aide for energy policy to U.S. Senator Gary Hart (D. Colorado).
