AJ Linnell North Trailhead

Tucked in the shadow of the Tetons, the communities of Victor and Driggs, Idaho are proudly connected to nature and the land. The open spaces, rivers, and ridgelines aren’t just scenery—they’re part of daily life, shaping how neighbors gather, how kids grow up, and how the valley sustains its spirit.

Thanks to the previous landowners’ generosity and close coordination with the community and local partners, TPL is proud to protect 10.2 acres along Fox Creek, strengthening that powerful connection to the land.

This conservation success not only safeguards land from development but also preserves access to recreational opportunities in a rapidly growing area, ensuring that the landscapes and character of the Teton Valley remain intact for future generations. The vision includes a trailhead with parking, places to enjoy the natural beauty of the property and a northern connection to the future network of hiking and biking trails known as the AJ Linnell trail system. This new access point opens 5,000 acres of neighboring BLM land to the public, while also linking into tens of thousands of acres stretching across National Forest lands and Grand Teton National Park.

In collaboration with TPL and local partners, the project will build on years of community leadership and support of groups like Teton Valley Trails and Pathways (TVTAP) and Mountain Bike the Tetons (MBT) which have worked to weave trails across the valley’s vast public land, making it easier for people to leave their cars behind and walk or ride into the quiet spaces that energize and inspire.

With the land now protected, the next chapter is turning vision into reality. Join us in carrying the momentum forward and raising the funds needed to build and open access to miles of public trails and world-class recreation in Teton County’s backyard.
