Emma Nunez Perez

Emma Nunez Perez is a communications and public health professional with over five years of experience leading strategic initiatives across the sustainability, higher education, and nonprofit sectors. She currently serves as a Communications Specialist – Operations at PSEG, where she oversees media monitoring and reporting, manages press release distribution and external communications calendars, and supports content governance and media research to strengthen the company’s public presence and reputation.
Her work has spanned media strategy, community engagement, project management, and event coordination, with a strong emphasis on advancing equity, sustainability, and public health. Emma has led high-impact communications campaigns, built partnerships across corporate and community sectors, and managed cross-functional teams delivering digital content and programming.

Emma earned her Master of Public Health with a concentration in Health Systems Administration and Policy from Montclair State University. She served as a Board Fellow with the New Jersey Chapter of the Trust for Public Land from 2021 to 2025 and became a full board member in 2025.
