Jane Thornton Jones

Since graduating from USC with a BA in Communication and Business, Jane was the Operations Manager for several boutique jewelry and fashion brands in New York and Los Angeles. She worked alongside artists and designers streamlining their businesses and constructing corporate and logistical systems to maximize efficiency and growth. She enjoys being in entrepreneurial environments and helping creative individuals realize their vision.

In 2017, Jane permanently relocated to Los Angeles and joined the board of her family’s foundation, the Flora L. Thornton Foundation. Since then her focus has shifted to the philanthropy space, specifically in the environment and social justice arena. She is an advocate for climate justice and is excited to join Trust for Public Land’s California Advisory Board in order to continue her education and connect with people that share the same passion. She also sits on the Executive Board for Rising Artist Foundation.

Jane’s other interests include real estate and historic preservation. In 2023 she’ll be receiving her certificate in Real Estate Investment from Harvard Extension School and looks forward to continuing her education.
