Cheryl Appeldorn

Cheryl works as an independent policy consultant on conservation issues, focusing primarily on conservation budgets and funding. Since 2003, she has provided research and analysis to a variety of conservation organizations, including the Minnesota Campaign for Conservation which supported passage of Minnesota’s Clean Water, Land & Legacy Amendment in 2008. She has previously served on the boards of The Nature Conservancy in Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota, Conservation Minnesota, and the College of St. Benedict. She holds a juris doctor from the University of Minnesota, and a Bachelor of Arts in Government from the College of St. Benedict/ St. John’s University.
