Statement by The Trust for Public Land on the House Passage of the Build Back Better Act

“As part of the Build Back Better Act, the House of Representatives today took a historic step in addressing park inequity. The inclusion of $100 million for parks in communities that need them most helps close the park equity gap in America, and will make a meaningful difference in the lives of people who do not currently have access to the vital health, climate, and community benefits that parks provide,” said Bill Lee, Senior Vice President for Policy, Advocacy and Government Relations at The Trust for Public Land.
