CityHealth Greenspace Policy Package Webinar

Trust for Public Land and CityHealth, an initiative of deBeaumont Foundation and Kaiser Permanente, are partnering to advance urban greenspace policies from the lens of improving community health. This partnership began in January 2021 and brings together a diverse cadre of TPL staff. In December 2022, cities will be awarded bronze, silver, and gold medals for including 10MW and urban tree canopy goals in city laws, regulations, executive orders, ordinances, and comprehensive plans; increasing support for capital investments in parks; and ensuring that our most underserved communities are prioritized across 10MW and urban tree canopy policies. In January 2022, we launched our first webinar highlighting the health benefits of nature and case studies from cities. With more than 100 registrants and 65+ cities represented, the initial dissemination effort was a success. We are continuing this partnership into early 2023.
