Woonasquatucket River Greenway
Photo credit: Susan Lapides In 2006, TPL completed clean up and capping of a 4-acre municipal landfill and transferred it to the City of Providence. This site combined with two other park sites will form will a major recreational node along the Greenway. The project was awarded a grant from the Environmental Protection Agency as a part of its Brownfields Program.
