Victory Hill

The Trust for Public Land is working to protect 592 acres in the remote North East Kingdom in Victory, Vermont. The property is surrounded on three sides by Victory State Forest and is a high priority for protection by both Vermont Fish & Wildlife and Vermont Forests, Parks & Recreation. The property is rich in wildlife including the habitat for the state-endangered American marten. Protection of these 592 acres of streams, wetlands, and spruce forests will create a protected space adjoining Victory Hill Sector –500 acres of private land which contains 20 miles of world-class mountain bike trails.
