Central Arkansas Water announces The Trust for Public Land as 2012 Stakeholder of the Year
Central Arkansas Water (CAW) presented its fourth Annual Crystal Water Drop Award for Stakeholder of the Year to the Trust for Public Land. This organization is certainly a key participant in endeavors to protect the water quality of Lake Maumelle, the metropolitan community’s primary drinking water supply.
Graham W. Rich, P.E., BCEE, Chief Executive Officer, presented the award to Chris Deming, The Trust for Public Land’s Arkansas State Director, during the utility’s Annual Stakeholders Meeting on May 22, 2012.
In presenting the special honor before a gathering of approximately 130 people at the Woman’s City Club-Junior League of Little Rock, Rich shared, “The Trust for Public Land has been a vital partner with Central Arkansas Water to assist with the acquisition of additional land to protect the Lake Maumelle Watershed, and its protection will help maintain the high quality water that our customers.
