Race for the Greenway

Trust for Public Land is creating the Long Island Greenway, a biking and pedestrian trail that will stretch nearly 200 miles from Manhattan to Montauk. You can Race for the Greenway to make it happen! The Long Island Greenway will provide a trail for walkers, bikers, hikers, and runners, passing through 27 communities. Help raise funds for this ambitious project by joining us on October 29.

Presented by Long Island Wine Country, you’ll walk or run your way through Hallock State Park and then sip your way through the region’s best vineyards at our after-party wine crawl. Special thanks to Long Island Wine Country, celebrating 50 years of exceptional wines by supporting the Long Island Greenway.

Experience a stunning off-road trail run through some of Long Island’s finest scenery. You’ll pass beaches, vineyards, hidden ponds, and tranquil forests on mostly flat terrain. All are welcome!
