Junior Financial Analyst (Temporary, Location Flexible)

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Junior Financial Analyst will be responsible for supporting the finance team, including maintenance of reports, reconciliation and variance analysis. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Manage existing suite of monthly financial reports
- Maintain financial/reporting databases
- Perform ad hoc reporting and analysis
- Respond to insurance requests and issues
- Other related duties as required and assigned
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, finance or economics
- Broad knowledge of financial and accounting policies, practices, and systems
- Preferred of 1-2 years of financial analysis
- Proficient in MS Excel
- Comfortable working within databases
- Ability to provide meaningful financial analysis and reconcile variances
- Excellent presentation, reporting and communication skills
- Extremely detail oriented with ability to multi-task
- Active team player and works well under pressure
- Works well independently with a high degree of accuracy
- Proactively recognizes and addresses challenges
