Michelle Aboodi

Michelle Aboodi works at Nike, Inc. as a sustainability manager – creating and integrating the sustainability strategy for Converse and the iconic Chuck Taylor All Star. She was a GreenBiz 30 Under 30 recipient for her work in sustainability and social impact at Unilever. Prior to her work at Unilever and Converse, Michelle started her career on the business operations team at CNN.

Michelle received her B.A. in Sociology and Child/Adolescent Mental Health from New York University and her M.B.A. in Sustainability from Bard College.

Originally from New Jersey, she has lived in and enjoyed the parks of the East Village, Little Italy, Union Square, the Upper West Side, and most recently, Queens. She supports the Trust for Public Land because their commitments to equity, health, community, and climate align with her commitment to help people thrive for the next 100+ years.

When she’s not trying to make sustainability our reality, she is spending time with family, checking out farmer’s markets to cook delicious local meals, reading, writing, and practicing yoga.
