Eric W. Wilson

Eric W. Wilson has 28 years of experience in governance, operations and environmental management with local, county and federal governments, with a specialty in municipal management.

He is a senior executive at CBRE, a commercial real estate firm, where he leads the national education business development efforts. Prior to CBRE, Eric worked for Heery International which was purchased by CBRE in 2017; a lobbyist with mCapitol Management, 2003-2011, where he provided business development and lobbying services for a number of engineering and environmental firms; the Office of Congressman John Lewis, 1999 – 2001, as a director in his district office.

Eric has a Master of City Planning degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology, Georgia Institute of Technology Executive Leadership Program, a Bachelor of Science in Public and Environmental Affairs from Indiana University and received his Commission in the Army National Guard from the Indiana Military Academy. As a former elected member on the Atlanta Board of Education, Eric built a strong national foundation of support among community leaders, both elected and appointed.

He is a member of the following organizations: Council of Urban Boards of Education, Member; U.S. Conference of Mayors, Steering Committee; AIPAC National Council and Atlanta Executive Council; Atlanta Black/Jewish Coalition; VeloCity Atlanta – A Grady Foundation entity; Eli Broad Foundation, Founding Class; Leadership Atlanta-Class of 2004; member, Atlanta Who’s Who.

Eric served our Country first in the United States Marine Corps Reserves and then in the United States Army National Guard. Eric currently resides in the City of Atlanta where he is married and has a daughter. He’s an active road bike cyclist and has cycled portions of the Tour de France route.
