Christopher Wilmers

Chris Wimers is a professor of Wildlife Ecology and Conservation at the University of California, Santa Cruz.  His research seeks to understand how climate change and habitat alteration impacts wildlife populations such as African lions and leopards in Kenya, wolves in Yellowstone, and pumas in California.  In his spare time he is assisting the Wildlife Conservation Network to develop a California program focused on maintaining and restoring wildlife connectivity for species such as pumas and deer.
