Irma’s secret to health and happiness

Irma Garcia runs the senior fitness group at her local Trust for Public Land Fitness Zone® exercise area in Baldwin Park, CA.  She’s led the group to successfully complete two 5K races, and they’re currently training for a third. We think Irma—and her amazing friends—will inspire viewers to get out and move.

Irma’s profile is just the latest in our series of short films about the people who benefit from Trust for Public Land parks and protected sites across the country. We hope stories like these remind our supporters that you are a partner in a great cause: to ensure that every American enjoys close-to-home access to parks and natural lands. Thanks to you, nearly 10 million people live within a 10-minute walk of a Trust for Public Land park or natural area, and millions more visit these sites every year.
