For more than two decades, The Trust for Public Land (TPL) has been protecting New Hampshire's forests, farms, rivers, and trails, where residents and visitors can hike, fish, and enjoy the great outdoors. As New Hampshire's population continues to grow—faster than any other New England state—TPL is working with communities to protect important landscapes that will sustain the state's economy, heritage, and way of life. To date, TPL has protected more than 220,000 acres throughout New Hampshire, focusing on three areas: the Mahoosuc region, the Connecticut River watershed, and the Seacoast region. TPL also helps towns establish community forests.
