Tollgate Farm
Credit: Dan Lamont
The historic Tollgate Farm in North Bend offers a direct link to King County's past. From 1884-1887 the farm was a toll stop when the first road from Seattle to Snoqualmie Pass was a toll road. This community treasure also features stunning views of Mount Si, the old Tollgate farmhouse, a lush meadow, and an important wildlife corridor. When the property was slated for development as a one million square foot office park and 32-home subdivision, TPL stepped in and helped permanently conserve the 370-acre site for public open space at the end of 2001.
