Once threatened by residential development, TPL helped save 39-acres of undeveloped land that in 2008, became Taylor Bay Conservation Area on Key Peninsula in Pierce County. In an area with few waterfront parks, the property offers the public the opportunity to enjoy and explore dense woodlands, Taylor Creek, a flower-strewn meadow, and a coveted stretch of Puget Sound shoreline.
