Los Angeles County

Los Angeles residents are often isolated from public parks and green space. In fact, less than one third of children in Los Angeles County live within walking distance of a park or playground, and there are few safe places where adults can go to enjoy the outdoors or exercise. The Trust for Public Land is working to change that by giving Angelenos parks close-to-home and wilderness within easy reach. To do so, we work both in the inner city, and the natural lands that ring the urban core.
