  • North Canyon Junction

Though only four acres, the North Canyon Junction is a small but critical juncture along the Bonneville Shoreline Trail. Until 2023, this stretch of land was privately owned, and public access to the BST via this vital connection was not guaranteed. But thanks to our partners at the U.S. Forest Service, TPL helped permanently protect the North Canyon Junction. For visitors enjoying the Bonneville Shoreline Trail, its preservation means more opportunities for recreation, better public access and trail connectivity, and improved trail management.
