J.H.S. 218 Community Playground was designed by students, staff, parents, and community members through the Trust for Public Land’s New York City Playgrounds Program. This playground now includes trees, a turf field, rain garden, pervious pavers, and other green infrastructure elements that capture an inch of rainwater in storms. It is open to the public.
