    2022-2023

Trust for Public Land will convene residents, business leaders, experts, and volunteers to create a community design for the Sliver by the River, the first “opportunity site” along the 19-mile pathway.

The future 4-acre waterfront park is at the nexus of Bridgeport’s transportation hub and a gateway into Downtown. In the future, people waiting for their ride to work can relax in the park. Kids can test out their bike riding skills. Joggers can take a break to stretch. Hand-in-hand with the Bridgeport community, we’re walking towards the vision of a park on the waterfront that adds another place to experience the outdoors.
