THE TRUST FOR PUBLIC LAND ON PRESIDENT'S PROPOSED FY20 BUDGET

March 11, 2019

Kathy DeCoster, Vice President and Director of Federal Affairs for The Trust for Public Land, today issued the following statement regarding the release of the President’s FY20 budget:

“Just weeks ago, Congress overwhelmingly voted to permanently reauthorize the Land and Water Conservation Fund, and today the President virtually eliminated LWCF. Partisan politics should not determine whether we provide parks and public lands for our kids and grandkids. We’ll work with both Republicans and Democrats to ensure that the Land and Water Conservation Fund is fully funded by Congress.”
