THE TRUST FOR PUBLIC LAND ON HOUSE APPROPRIATIONS INTERIOR-EPA BILL

May 14, 2019
Washington, DC

Kathy DeCoster, VP and Director of Federal Affairs of The Trust for Public Land, today issued the following statement regarding the House appropriations for the Interior-EPA bill:

“The Land and Water Conservation Fund ensures that Americans have access to parks and the outdoors – from neighborhood parks to National Parks. I am relieved to see that the subcommittee under Chairwoman McCollum's leadership rejected the President’s harmful budget cuts and funded this critical program at levels not seen since 2003. This is a step in the right direction as we continue to push for full and dedicated funding for LWCF, ensuring outdoor access for generations to come."
