Dick Dolan to head The Trust for Public Land in Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming

The Trust for Public Land is pleased to announce Dick Dolan as its Northern Rockies Director. Dick will oversee all work in Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming, including Story Mill Community Park in Bozeman, MT, Haskill Basin in Whitefish, MT, and Astoria Hot Springs in Jackson, WY.

“I am thrilled to be joining The Trust for Public Land’s Northern Rockies team at such an exciting time. Our partnerships in communities like Bozeman, Whitefish and Jackson will add signature projects to a terrific legacy of more than 700,000 acres of working forests, ranch and farm land, city parks, trails, and wild lands across the region. I’m committed to continuing to focus on places people care about in our communities.”

Dick has worked for more than 30 years to conserve the land and water of the Northern Rockies and the Northern Great Plains, most recently as Managing Director for the American Prairie Reserve. Prior to joining APR in 2007, he worked as an attorney at the Bozeman law firm of Goetz, Gallik, Baldwin and Dolan, where he was a partner for 10 years, and then served as Program Director for the Greater Yellowstone Coalition. Dick is originally from Billings, Montana. He holds a JD degree from the University of Washington School of Law and a BS in Finance from the University of Oregon.
