Tamela Thornton (Vice Chair)

Tamela is a founding partner and principal of ESmith Legacy, LLC and the head of client services for E Smith Advisors, the real estate development company founded by former NFL player, Emmitt Smith. Tamela’s focus at the company is on social infrastructure development (civil infrastructure development). Tamela is a former Yum! Brands and Starbucks executive.

Tamela holds a M.A. in regional science from the University of Pennsylvania (1985). Tamela serves as secretary of the board of Info Globe Inc. She also currently serves as a board member at Services of Hope, and the Fort Worth Business Assistance Center (BAC).
