Earlynne Maile

Earlynne Maile was born and raised in Hawai‘i. She attended Kamehameha Schools and Santa Clara University where she received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering Physics. In 2010 she received her MBA from Hawai‘i Pacific University. She is a registered professional electrical engineer in the state of Hawai‘i and a project management professional.

She began her engineering career at Hawaiian Electric in 1986 doing long-range planning. During her carrier she has also done substation design, project management and asset management.

She was the Manager of Distributed Energy Resources Operations at Hawaiian Electric Company. Distributed energy resources (DER) already play an important role in Hawai‘i's energy landscape, and are forecasted to significantly grow as technology continues to improve. Earlynne led the company-wide efforts to implement and manage DER programs and procedures. She also worked to improve the customer experience in the DER processes, which in turn improved overall customer satisfaction. Earlynne is currently a Project Manager with SSFM International.

In her spare time, Earlynne is on the Advisory Board for the Trust for Public Lands and enjoys watching University of Hawaii football and Gonzaga Basketball.
