Doug Aldridge

Doug Aldridge has been in the financial services industry for almost 4 decades. He is currently a Managing Director – Investments with the Aldridge Wealth Management Group of Wells Fargo Advisors where he is responsible for key client relationships, focusing on affluent families, foundations and institutions.

Doug entered the securities industry in 1977 as a Financial Advisor with Drexel Burnham Lambert. In 1988 Doug transitioned to management by accepting a position with Interstate/Johnson Lane. Over the years Doug has held titles of Regional Manager, Managing Director and President with Interstate/Johnson Lane and their successor firms. Doug recently chose to leave his position as the Atlanta Market Manager at Wells Fargo Advisors to resume his role as a Financial Advisor. This transition allows Doug the opportunity to use his vast knowledge of this industry to serve his clients by offering comprehensive wealth and investment planning services.

For more than a decade, Doug has been active with the Atlanta Botanical Garden and the Ida Cason Callaway Foundation serving on their Board of Trustees. Most recently, Doug has become an active member of the Historic Oakland Foundation Board and the Highlands Playhouse Board.

A native of Atlanta, Doug attended the Westminster Schools then graduated from the Universityof Georgia with a BBA in Finance. Doug has served on numerous Securities Industry and Financial Management Association (SIFMA) committees and roundtables and is a past President of the Georgia Securities Association. He and his wife, Mopsy, live in Atlanta. They have 3 children and 7 grandchildren they are very involved with.


As a board member for The Trust for Public Land , I act in a completely separate role from my position as a Financial Advisor at Wells Fargo Advisors.
