We did it!
Thanks to an unprecedented show of local and national support, the future of Wyoming's Hoback Basin is no longer at risk. In just 90 days, together we raised the $8.75 million needed to purchase Plains Exploration and Production's (PXP) 58,000 acres of oil and gas leases and permanently protect the Hoback from future drilling.
The purchase means that affected land inside and near the Bridger-Teton National Forest near Grand Teton National Park will be forever preserved for hunting, fishing, and recreation.
