Forest Lodge
Credit: Shaun Hamilton
Nestled in the Chequamegon National Forest outside of Cable, Wisconsin, is the magical estate of Forest Lodge. In 1999, this property, a model of ecological stewardship, was handed down through three generations and donated to TPL to ensure its protection and its future use as a hands-on Environmental Center. Located on the shores of Lake Namekagon, the Headwaters to the St. Croix National Scenic Riverway, this property holds ecological, historical, and cultural treasures that will be protected and shared with future generations. TPL helped create an endowment ensuring that maximum public benefit is realized through environmental programs, research, and conferences.
