In the wild and scenic Northwoods region, The Trust for Public Land is conserving forestland and waterways to protect wildlife habitat, water quality, and community character. TPL has conveyed thousands of acres to Wisconsin’s national forests, including lakefront properties that now provide public access for fishing and boating. Along the St. Croix, TPL projects have added 2,500 acres of valuable watershed land to the national scenic riverway.
