When the last piece of private property bordering the Seattle Arboretum's Japanese Garden was put on the market for residential development, TPL was asked for help. With funds donated by the Arboretum Foundation, TPL negotiated the property's purchase and transferred title to the city of Seattle, maintaining a green backdrop for the spectacular garden located just minutes from downtown.
