Copeland Creek Farm
Credit: PCC Farmland Trust
For decades, The Trust for Public Land has helped protect Washington's family farms-farms like Copeland Creek, a 102-acre property in the fertile Puyallup River Valley. The land here is among the most threatened in the Puget Sound Region, under increasing pressure from development.
The Trust for Public Land is partnering with PCC Farmland Trust to purchase the Copeland Creek property and protect it with a conservation easement. By supporting organic and sustainable agriculture, our partnership will protect jobs, safeguard the river and the Puget Sound, and make local organic produce cheaper for Pierce County residents. Together, we're working to help farmers succeed in a challenging industry.
