Mill Creek

Working with Salt Lake County, The Trust for Public Land protected 45 acres at the mouth of Millcreek Canyon, one of the most popular destinations for residents to hike, mountain bike, and explore. The property also adds a much need access point to the Bonneville Shoreline Trail. Protecting this area preserves the dramatic views of the South Salt Lake valley below, a longtime draw for locals.

The Trust for Public Land is now leveraging this success to protect an additional 750 acres farther up Millcreek Canyon. This expansion will help ensure the natural beauty here remains intact for future generations to enjoy.
